BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (18:30) hrs MST today, the tropical storm (Pabuk) over the South China Sea is centered at about (270) miles Southeast of Nakhon Si Thammarat (Thiland) and about (385)miles Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar). It is forecast to move West- Northwestwards, cross near the Nakhon Si Thammarat (Thiland), South of Kawthaung (Myanmar) and reach to Andaman Sea.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 4th January, 2019: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
