It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on 24-11-2025. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th January, 2019: Rain will be scattered in  Taninthayi Region and isolated in Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States.
