25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Above normal rain are likely in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Nothern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States.

Rainy days are expected about (3) to (4) days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State and about (1) to (2)days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Night Temperature

Night Temperature will be (1.5 °C) above normal temperature of February in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, about normal in Sagaing, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah,  Kayin and Mon States.

Fog Condition

Foggy days will be expected about (7) to (9) days in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, about (4) to (6) days in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Eastern and Southern)Shan State.
