24-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (23) miles west of Myanaung), latitude 18.27°N, longitude 94.97°E, depth (41)kilometers, about (53) miles southeast of Gwa seismological observatory was recorded at (14)hr (52)min (58)sec M.S.T on 17th February, 2019.
