26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, scattered in Southern State and isolated in Magway Region and Rakhine State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (8°C) below March normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, (7°C) below March normal temperatures Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (5°C) below March normal temperature in Chin State,  (4°C) below March normal temperature in Mandalay Region and (2°C) below March normal temperatures in Magway and Yangon Regions and about March normal temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C) in Magway, (38°C) each in Chauk, Minbu, Taungdwingyi and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Maungdaw (1.81)inches, Kyauktaw (0.98)inch, Matupi (0.94)inch, Paletwa (0.91)inch, Muse (0.63)inch, Kunlong (0.59)inch, Bhamo (0.55)inch, Pinlaebu (0.51)inch, Tongzon (0.47)inch, Ramthlo (0.43)inch and Katha (0.39)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and isolated in Eastern Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States.
