24-2-2026 According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northweatwards and intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwest during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.  Deree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Shan and Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
