27-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” crossed in the interior of Indonesia has recurved and moved South-Southeast and now lies again over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca. It is centered at about 360 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 140 Nautical miles Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 50 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  460 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka has further intensified into a Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Sri Lanka coast.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 180 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 395 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy and over the over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, isolated in Mandalay Ragion and Northern Shan State, weather has been generally fair in Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March normal temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) below March normal temperature in Kachin States and about March normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (40°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Taunggu, Phyu, Gyobingauk and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Mogaung (0.91)inch, Monyin (0.47)inch, Myitkyina (0.43)inch and Homalin (0.31)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st March, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and isolated in Northern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of isolated rain or thundershowers in Kachin State.
