25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of April 2019

           The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (2-3) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing and Myinmu, and about (1-2) feet at Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (1-2) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (½-1) foot at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
