26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway and Bago Regions, Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April normal temperatures in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin State and (2°C) above April normal temperatures in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayah and Mon States and about April normal temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Aunglan, Hinthada and Bawlakhae, (41°C) each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Pyinmana, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu, Bago, Shwekyin, Tharrawady, Phyu, Gyobingauk, Hmawbi, Yangon(Mingaladon), Yangon(Kaba-Aye), Ngathaichaung and Zalun.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State.
