8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwestwards and no lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean. It is centered at about 685 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 340 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 535 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Low Pressure Area Condition

         According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, yesterday's low pressure area over the Northeast Bay of Bengal now lies over the North Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify into a depression during next (48) hours.

General caution

           Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

Advisory

          Under the influence of low pressure area, people should be awared domastic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts.
