8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

          The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (4-6) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, and about (2-4) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (5-7) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (2-4) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
