24-2-2026:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over South Bay still persists. It is likely to move Northeastwards during next 24 hours and weaken gradually. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (19)miles southwest of Mongpan), latitude 20.17°N, longitude 98.12°E, depth (11)kilometers, about (55)miles southeast of Namsang seismological observatory was recorded at (14)hr (21)min (43)sec M.S.T on 27th  August , 2019.
