4-9-2025::  According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast has moved west-northwestwards over the North Odisha coast. It is likely continued to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India and gradually weakened during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Sittoung River

   According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Sittoung River at Madauk has exceeded by about (2½) feet above its danger level. It may fall from the present water level about (½) foot during the next (2) days and may remain above its danger level.

Advisory

   It is especially advertised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Madauk to take precaution measure.
