25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter Inside Myanmar (about 3 miles Northwest of Hopin), latitude 25.03°N, longitude 96.50°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (69) miles Southwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (08)hr (46)min (13)sec M.S.T on 24th November, 2019.
