8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (2) miles east-southeast of Mingin), latitude 22.87°N, longitude 94.54°E, depth (78) kilometers, about (62) miles east-northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (20)hr (23)min (48)sec M.S.T. on 1st May, 2020.
