19-2-2026 According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west–northwestwards towards Sri Lanka and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours.  Weather is  partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and over the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Low Pressure Area Condition

          According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal tonight and as a Cyclonic Storm on (16.5.2020) night. It is very likely to move Northwest wards initially and then recurve North-Northeast wards towards North Bay of Bengal after(17.5.2020).
