2-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 80 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to recurve slowly Southwestwards and weaken gradually into a Depression during next 12 hrs.Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

During the months of June, the water levels may rise about (10-12) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and  Katha, and about (8-10) feet at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, NyaungOo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun of Ayeyarwady River.

The water levels may rise about (13-15) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (10-12) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa of Chindwin River.

The water levels may rise about (4-6) feet at Kalay of Myittha River, about (2-3) feet at Hsipaw and about (6-9) feet at Shwesayan and Myitnge of Dokhtawady River,  about (5-7) feet at Taungoo and Madauk of Sittaung River, about (3-5) feet at Shwegyin of Shwegyin River, about (6-8) feet at Zaungtu and Bago of Bago River, about (5-7) feet at Hpa-an of Thanlwin River,  about (3-5) feet at Myawady of Thaungyin River, about (9-12) feet at Ngathaingchaung and about (3-5) feet at Thabaung and Pathein of Ngawun River, about (2-4) feet at Maubin of Toe River, about (6-9) feet at Paletwa and Kyauktaw of the Kaletan River, about (5-7) feet at MyaukU of Laymyo River, and about (8-10) feet at Bilin of Bilin River.
