24-2-2026 According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely continue to move eastwards during next 24 hours and weaken gradually. Weather is a few cloud over North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 13.01°N, longitude 92.40°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (365) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (06)hr (19)min (28)sec M.S.T on 8th July, 2020.
