Water level forecast for Second (10) days of August 2020

The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (5-7) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, and about (2-4) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo, and to fall below the present water levels by about (1½-2) foot at Chauk, Minbu and Magway, and about (4½-7½-) foot at Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.
The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (4-7) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
