Cyclonic Storm

            According to the observations at (18:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm (Burevi) over Gulf of Manner has moved Westwards and it is centered at about (5) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Pamban and about (120) Nautical miles Northeast of Kanyakumari (India).

            Cyclonic Storm (Burevi) is located at Latitude (9.2) degree North and Longitude (79.2) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (998) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (45)miles per hour at (18:30) hrs MST today.

During next (18)hrs forecast

            The Cyclonic Storm (Burevi) is forecast to move West-Northwestwards continuously and cross South Tamil Nadu coast beteeen Pamban and Kanyakumari (India).
