According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Andaman Seastill persists.
General caution
Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and Mon-Taninthayi Coasts during (5.4.2021) to (7.4.2021).
