It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (6) miles northwest of Mohnyin), latitude 24.85°N, longitude 96.31°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (86) miles southwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (16)hr (53)min (15)sec M.S.T on 23rd May, 2021.
