 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Ayeyarwady River

     According to the (08:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Seikthahas exceeded by about (½) foot above its danger level. It may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½) foot during the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.

     According to the (08:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Hinthadahas reached its danger level and it may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½) foot during the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.

    According to the (08:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Zalunhas reached its danger level and it may continue to rise from the present water level by about (½) foot during the next (3) days and may remain above its danger level.

Advisory

It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Seiktha, HinthadaTownship and ZalunTownship, to take precaution measure.
