It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (29)miles southeast of Paletwa), latitude 21.15°N, longitude 93.27°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (75)miles northeast of Sittwe seismological observatory was recorded at (22)hr (35)min (15)sec M.S.T on 9th October, 2021.
