22-2-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West- Northwest and may reach Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoning Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the (06:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay is (358) cm. It may fall below the present water level by about (½) foot during the next (5) days and may remain below its minimum alert water level (360) cm.
