26-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is centered at about 400 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 430 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 460 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression next 6 hours, Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay on 27-10-2025, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It islikely to move East-Northeastwards and lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea and move to the Northwards near Andaman Sea, Nicobar Islands and Coco-Island, intensify into a Depression at (20.3.2022) and a Cyclonic Storm at (21.3.2022). It may continue to move North-Northeastwards and reach near Bangladesh and Rakhinecoast of Myanmar at (22.3.2022).

General caution

Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be scattered to fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and Shan, Rakhine,Kayah, Kayin, Mon States during (17.3.2022) to (19.3.2022).Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts.
