4-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over the Northeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts still persist. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining off and along Northern Rakhine coasts, Myanmar and coastal area of Bangladesh on 5-11-2025. Weather is cloudy over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Weather Forecast for 2022 Mid Monsoon Season

Mid Monsoon Period

The mid monsoon period is establishment of first July to the end of August.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Four low pressure areas may form over the Bay of  Bengal and two may further intensify into Depressions. Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman sea and Bay of Bengal. One time of Break Monsoon may occur during mid monsoon season.

Rain Conditions

Rain or thundershower will be expected below normal in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States.
