30-6-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (6) mile east-northeast of Namsang), latitude 20.90°N, longitude 97.81°E, depth (7) kilometers, about (52) miles east-northeast of Taunggyi seismological observatory was recorded at (11)hr (28)min (29)sec M.S.T on 7^hJuly, 2022.
