29-6-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (18) miles south-southeast of Phyu), latitude 18.23°N, longitude 96.52°E, depth (11) kilometers, about (48) miles south of Taungoo seismological observatory was recorded at (03)hr (31)min (13)sec M.S.T on 8^thJuly, 2022.
