2-12-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) has weaken into a Depression now lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Westcentral Bay, North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) is centered at about 755 Nautical miles West of Coco Island(Myanmar), 70 Nautical miles North-Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 15 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely continue to move slowly Southwestwards towards the North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts, India and weaken gradually into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. Weather is cloudy over the Northwest and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers will be likely above normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy and Tanintharyi Regions, below normal in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about normal in NayPyiTaw, East Bago Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and (4) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State.
