29-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (10)miles west of Shwebo), latitude 22.55°N, longitude 95.53°E, depth (12)kilometers, about (45)miles south of Kanbalu seismological observatory was recorded at (06)hr (18)min (55)sec M.S.T on 16^th July, 2022.
