29-6-2025:  According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

EARTHQUAKE NEWS

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (21) miles northeast of Mawlaik), latitude 23.84°N, longitude 94.67°E, depth (85) kilometers, about (34) miles southeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (04)hr (18)min (07)sec M.S.T on 25th August, 2022.
