29-6-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter Myanma Sea (about (36) miles northeast of Coco Islands), latitude 14.54°N, longitude 93.69°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (230) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (43)min (02)sec M.S.T on 2^nd September, 2022.
