29-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A very strong earthquake of magnitude (7.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Eastern New Guinea Reg.,P.N.G), latitude 6.33°S, longitude 146.61°E, depth (96)kilometers, about (3804) miles southeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (06)hr (16)min (58)sec M.S.T on 11^th September, 2022.
