30-6-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (14) miles south-southeast of Thandwe), latitude 18.29°N, longitude 94.48°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (48) miles north of Gwa seismological observatory was recorded at (18)hr (32)min (49)sec M.S.T on 25^thSeptember, 2022.
