25-10-2025:According to the observations at 11:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards and further intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 330 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 530 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 540 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression on 26-10-2025 and Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining over Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the West Central Bay of Bengal now lies over West Central and adjoining North Bay of Bengal.        

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 10th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine,  Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,  Upper Sagaing ,Bago Regions ,Kachin and Chin states, scattered in  Lower Sagaing  Mandalay and Magway Regions,  Northern Shan and State, isolated in (Eastern and Southern) Shan and Kayah States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times  off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 10) feet in Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Chin and Rakhine States.
