17-2-2026:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over the East Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, due to the easterly waves, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated to scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine States from (24.11.2022) to (29.11.2022).
