24-10-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region,

rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing

Region and Rakhine State and widespread in Bago,Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. The noteworthy

amounts of rainfall recorded were Taunggyi (2.88)inches, Namsam (2.40)inches, Loilin (2.36)inches, Kengtung (1.90)inches, Mindat (1.70)inches and Homalin

(1.54)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
