BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Shan and Kayah States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet in along Myanmar Coast.
