24-2-2026 According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northweatwards and intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwest during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to the western disturbances, movement of clouds from Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and development of convective clouds, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States from (21.4.2023) to (25.4.2023).

        People should be awared development of convective clouds and untimely rainfall accompanied with strong wind, thunder, lightning strikes, lightning and hails.
