25-10-2025:According to the observations at 11:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards and further intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 330 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 530 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 540 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression on 26-10-2025 and Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining over Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been isolated Eastern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kachin State and widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago  and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with regionally heavy falls in Bago Regions and Mon State and isolated heavy falls in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Kayin States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Hainggyikyun (7.56)inches, Madauk (7.36)inches, Shwegyin (6.14)inches, Tiddim (4.76) inches, Kyar-In-Seikgyi  (4.67)inches, Phyu(3.19)inches, Mudon (3.15)inches and Yay and Kyeikkhame (3.03)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Shan (North& East)States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Kayah States, widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon -Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, along Mon - Taninthayi Coast and (5 - 7)feet in along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
