26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Conditon

Southwest monsoon is likely to set in Southern Myanmar areas during (21-24) of May, Deltaic Myanmar areas during (25-28) of May and Central Myanmar areas during (29) of May to (4) of June. A Low Pressure Area may form over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. During this period, monsoon will be weak to moderate. Weather will be a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over Bay of Bengal.

 Rain condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Tanintharyi Region, below normal in NayPyiTaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and about normal Upper Sagaing, East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (6) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, West Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and  (2) to (5) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.

Day temperature will be (1.5°C) above normal of May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Southern Shan State and about normal of May average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
