24-2-2026 According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northweatwards and intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwest during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A low pressure area may form over the South Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rainy Condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be expected above normal in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin State, below normal in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State and about normal in the remaining Regions and States.

Rainy days are expected about (3) to (5) days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions,  Kachin and Chin States, (2) days in the  remaining Regions and States.

Day  Temperature Condition

Day temperature will be above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago,Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah States and  about April average temperatures in the remaining regions and States.
