It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 8th August, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Magway Region and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:  Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8)feet in along Myanmar Coasts.
