Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (11) miles west of Salin), latitude 20.57°N, longitude 94.48°E, depth (40) kilometers, about (51) miles south-southwest of Nyaung-U seismological observatory was recorded at (17) hr (12) min (06) sec M.S.T on 21st August, 2023.
