22-10-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may across North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th August, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Mon States.
