26-5-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “REMAL” over North Bay of Bengal has moved nearly Northwards and centered at about (175) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Maungdaw, (210) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Sittwe, (250) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Kyaukpyu, (Myanmar), (110) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Khepupara, (130) Nautical miles South of Mongla, (Bangladesh), (100) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island, (120) Nautical miles Southeast of Digha and (120) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Canning (West Bangal, India). Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong to vigorous over the Eastcentral Bay. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Land Depression Condition

According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “HAMOON” which has reached the inland of Bangladesh moved Northeastwards and weakened into a Land Depression over Mizoram, India. It is forecast continue to move Northeastwards and expected to weaken gradually.

This is the last news for the Very Severe Cyclonic Strom “HAMOON”.
