Well Marked Low Pressure Area Conditions

According to the observations at (10:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on (30.11.2023). Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over Southwest Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal on (2.12.2023).
