BAYINFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th May 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Yangon, Magway Region and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Region and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of thundery activities in Southern Myanmar areas.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th May 2025:                             Partly cloudy and likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 60%.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th May 2025:                                                  Partly cloudy and isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th May 2025:                                              Partly cloudy and likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 60%.

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Yangon Region and isolated in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region.
