30-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperatures in Mandalaly, Sagaing Regions and Chin State, 3°C above November average temperature in Rakhine State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.2°C in Hakha, 8.3°C in Tiddim, 10.0°C in Loilin, 11.0°C each in Pinlaung and Mongyang, 12.0°C each in Homalin and Lashio, 12.5°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 13.0°C in Taunggyi and 13.3°C in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.22 inches in Ye, 0.63 inch in Kawthaung, 0.47 inch each in Phyarpon and Thaton and 0.35 inch in Khayan.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
